Contact tracking allows ArmoryBook to
- Build a list of persons and businesses
- Associate purchased firearms with a person or company
- Associate sold firearms with an individual
- Build a valuable repository of contacts
The contact screen is broken down into 4 main sections: Related Guns, Basic Information, Personal Information and Business Information. Each section can be collapsed and expanded by clicking on the section heading or on the arrow on the right hand side of the heading. This allows for easily grouping and hiding of information that doesn't need to be reviewed every time a contact is opened. When a businesses contact is chosen the Basic Informaiton and Business Infomration will be opened by default. When a person contact is chosen the Basic Informaiton and Personal Infomration will be opened by default
Related Guns tracks any guns that have been purchased or sold to the selected contact. Each gun has a quick direct link to the individuals guns data.
Basic Information contains address, email and notes for both personal and business contacts. Each contact can be classified using the user defineable contact type field. The final field is the contact tag field. Contact tags are user definable and can be used when generating reports.
Personal\Business Information is used for storing information specific for the two different contact types.
